Last month we held our second annual Raylands Country Park Garden Competition and it was wonderful to see even more owners getting involved this year.
The idea behind the competition is simple – to encourage everyone to create beautiful spaces around their holiday homes, while also making them welcoming places for wildlife.
Flowering plants for bees and butterflies, water for birds and hedgehogs, bug hotels and wildlife-friendly planting all make a difference. And after just two years, we can already see the impact around the park – more colourful gardens, more people taking part and lots of little spaces for nature to thrive.
We also had our Tallest Sunflower Competition – for a bit of fun – with some amazing sunflowers.
For us, this is what Raylands is all about – bringing our community together, taking pride in the park and creating an even more beautiful place for our owners and our wildlife to enjoy together.
