Raylands Country Park provides a wide range of facilities and entertainment for all ages. However, it is still nice to explore outside of the park and see what the local area in Southwater has to offer.
Village Lintot Square
We are lucky to be so near to Lintot Square which offers a wide range of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. There’s a large Co-op, a gift shop, a post office, a charity shop, a curry house, a chinese takeaway and a fish and chips! There’s also a tea room, a florists, a library and a pub. Be sure to head down there.

Southwater Country Park
Enjoy a peaceful lakeside walk around Southwater country park. The park boasts a selection of outdoor activities including an adventure-style play area, orienteering course and tuition in canoeing and sailing. If you are meeting friends or family with little ones there’s a brand new dinosaur island play area with a large sand pit, aerial walkways, jungle swings and a climbing volcano. The country park also has a nice cafe with outdoor seating area and a large menu.

The Lintot Pub
The Lintot is a large family friendly pub situated over 2 floors. An extensive food menu is served daily midday – 9pm and represents great value for money for a quick lunch, dinner with friends or a celebration. The Little Tea House
This quaint little tea room is situated within Lintot Square. Check out their reviews on Trip Advisor. They offer delicious fresh breakfast, homemade cakes, brownies and pastries and much more. Make sure this is on your list of places to stop by! A lovely setting for a village tea room.
